Gourmandise Patisserie, Serendra

After lunch with a friend who had come to visit the Philippines, she really wanted to check out this new dessert place called La Gourmandise Patisserie in Serendra, Bonifacio Global City, Taguig.

The place looked really cute from the outside. The red chairs matched the canopy and signs, similar to the french brasseries I came across in Paris.

Charming left wall, which had a nice French quote on it. I like that they made it fairly understandable even if you don't know how to speak the language. :) It roughly means that "of all the passions, the most respectable is the passion for food."

The counter and wall behind it were pretty as well. On top of the counter on the ceiling hung a crystal chandelier. Cute! The little lampshades also add a distinct French touch to the place.

Had we ordered our mini tart for take out, it would have come in this beautiful box. Each side had a different French motif.

So many eclairs, we had a hard time choosing! 

They also had mini tarts. But seeing that they had more eclairs, I figured that eclairs were their specialty.

The moment I saw this Lemon Tart (200 Php), I knew I had to try it. It was good, but a little to sour for my taste.

My friend Becca ordered these eclairs that I picked out of as well. The top is Salted Caramel (90 Php) and the bottom, Praline (90 Php). They were a nice break in between my tart, and We loved the Salted Caramel especially!

I would definitely go back there, but definitely for the eclairs. I wanna try them all actually! 'til the next post :)
